Wake Up Sid

Wake Up Sid is a 2009 Hindi romantic comedy film. It is directed by Ayan Mukerji, produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, distributed by UTV Motion Pictures, and has visual effects by the Prime Focus Group. The film takes place in contemporary Mumbai and tells the story of spoiled, selfish rich-kid Sid Mehra (Ranbir Kapoor), a college student who is taught the meaning of life by Aisha (Konkona Sen Sharma), an aspiring writer from Kolkata.

Cast :

Ranbir Kapoor - Siddharth "Sid" Mehra, a spoiled and self-centered college student from Mumbai. According to Ranbir, of all the films that he has done so far, Sid was the toughest character to play. He adds that it might be difficult to believe but he is not at all like Sid in real life.
Konkona Sen Sharma - Aisha Bannerjee, a 27 year old woman from Kolkata, who comes to Mumbai to find independence and success as a writer.
