Krrish 3 is an upcoming Bollywood superhero science fiction film. The film will be produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan. The film will continue the story of Rohit Mehra and his superhero son Krrish, after Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006), this being the third film of the Krrish film series. Both the previous films were hugely successful at the box office. The film was supposed to be released along with its 3D format on Diwali, November 4, 2013. However, due to a lack of time to convert the film to 3D, Rakesh Roshan later confirmed that the film will be released only in the 2D format. The film has been rescheduled to release on November 1, 2013.

Filming commenced on 1 December 2011 with Oberoi, Ranaut, and Chopra. However, Hrithik Roshan did not participate in the first schedule due to a back injury. ActressShaurya Chauhan met with a freak accident while shooting for the film in Hyderabad, due to which the film has faced some delays. On 29th August 2012, it was reported that the makers had decided the superhero to indulge in the action sequences on snowy terrains. So, some part of the film was shot in the Alps.
